The client, a small team with a valuable license for a major soccer brand, was facing a critical bottleneck. They had the rights to produce collectible figurines but lacked the in-house expertise and manufacturing partners to bring the product to life. With a tight, unmovable deadline looming before the start of the season, their entire project was at risk.
The client needed to transform 2D player photos and sketches into high-quality, manufacturable 3D designs, without own 3D design team.
The factories they had contacted were either quoting prices that made the project unprofitable or providing low-quality samples of past productions unfit for a licensed brand.
The products had to be manufactured, shipped, and distributed to stores before the soccer season began, creating immense time pressure with no room for error.
Without a viable manufacturing solution, the client risked failing to deliver on their valuable licensing agreement, which could have serious long-term financial consequences.

Buying Office Asia rapidly assessed the client's product lineup ideas and created a strategic plan focused on the highest-impact products that could realistically be produced within the tight timeline, setting clear goals for quality and cost.
Step 2 / January 2025
Leveraging our network, we secured quotes from eight highly qualified manufacturers. Together with the customer, we selected a trusted partner with whom we have a long history, ensuring they could deliver the best possible quality and value package for the project.
Step 3 / February-March 2025
Together with the selected manufacturer, our team managed the entire technical development for the customer, creating manufacturable 3D files from the client's 2D photos. We produced 3D-printed samples for licensor approval, finalized all retail packaging, and created the high-precision plastic injection molds.
Step 4 / April 2025
After a small, successful test run to verify quality, we proceeded with the main production order. We manufactured a total of 190,000 units, including figurines of the most popular players and keyrings for nearly the entire team.
Step 5 / May 2025
With no time for errors, our on-site team conducted thorough quality control, continuously monitoring manufacturing and performing rigorous Pre-Shipment Inspections (PSIs) to ensure everything was perfect before the products left the factory. Our Quality Assurance methods and clear reporting completely eliminated the possibility of customer disappointment upon receiving the shipment.

The products were successfully delivered and in stores ahead of the season's start, resulting in a highly successful launch for the client. After customer receiving initial sales numbers, we began planning for the next season's orders to ensure an even smoother timeline.
